About

Hi, I’m Sabrina.

Learning Experience Designer

I enjoy solving complex learning problems by blending creativity with technology. From instructional strategy to interaction design and custom development, I love bringing ideas to life in ways that are engaging, practical, and focused on real performance. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors with my dogs, Finn and Remy.

How I work

Three things every project gets

  • Instructional strategy

Every experience starts with the real performance problem — not the content. I map what learners actually need to do, then design the practice that gets them there.

  • Thoughtful design

Clear visual design and considered detail make learning feel effortless. I sweat the storyboard, the motion, and the moments most people overlook.

  • Emerging technology

From AI-driven characters to custom interactions, I use new tools where they genuinely deepen practice — so learners rehearse the real thing, safely.

Working with me

What it’s like to work together

  • Purpose before polish

Every interaction should support a learning objective. If a screen looks great but doesn’t move the needle on performance, it doesn’t make the cut.

  • Collaborative

I work alongside stakeholders throughout — sharing progress and gathering input as I go, rather than disappearing for weeks and returning with something that misses the mark.

  • Transparent

I explain the reasoning behind my design decisions, so clients understand the “why” instead of taking them on faith.

  • Thoughtful use of AI

AI is a tool to enhance learning — never the goal of the project itself. I reach for it where it genuinely deepens practice, not just because it’s available.

  • Iterative

I share concepts early, welcome feedback, and refine as I go — so the final build reflects real input, not a last-minute reveal.

  • Reliable

I meet deadlines and turn projects around in a timely manner — without ever compromising on quality.

Experience

Where I’ve put this into practice

  • Through my own studio, I design and develop interactive, learner-centered eLearning experiences for clients — collaborating with them to identify performance gaps and build scenario-based and microlearning solutions aligned with their goals.

Want to see where it all started? Check out Walk the Walk, my first project from action map to final build.

  • I’m also part of the team behind Peck Academy, a licensed career school built from what was originally an instructional design bootcamp. During that transition, I led the curriculum work — writing the standards and competencies that shaped our licensing, and ensuring our courses stayed aligned to them. I continue to update and evolve our curriculum to keep our students ahead in the field. Alongside that, I create educational YouTube content and AI-powered simulation demos, and contribute to the technical exploration that pushes what our learning experiences can do.
